And They're Off!

Team Royal had an awesome start. With what we believe to have Royal Orange (may have been Royal Yellow) first over the line. It should be a relatively long day estimating that they should be landing sometime after 3 and before 7. The finish this year is behind the Ramada Inn just south of Hollywood Beach Boulevard, differing from the usual Hollywood stop at the Marriott.

There was one hitch in the first start with Royal Blue. Shortly after the start, Todd Hart and Jeff Losapio had a minor collision with another boat (so not our fault) breaking their spinnaker pole. They quickly returned to the shore where ground crew switched it out and sent them on their way. Hopefully they can make back some time, as the repair set them back close to an hour. Good luck guys!
