Day 2 Start Hollywood Beach

Everybody Royal had a solid start today and are expected to land very early on Jupiter Beach. The boats should be on the horizon around 2:00 and the spot is showing all teams royal toward the front of the pack. Corey Page was a new pusher today for Royal White, and successfully got Jason and Zack off to a good start. Royal teams had no issues in the start, unlike Velocity teams 2 and 3.

Initially, Velocity 3 flipped in the surf and floated ashore where they were righted by ground crew and sent back out. But then, in a startling turn of events, there was a man overboard on Velocity 2 just outside the surf. Velocity 2 quickly tried to turn his boat around to retrieve his lost crew member, as Velocity 3 was was approaching the scene from the shore. Velocity 2 then flipped in an attempt to retrieve his other sailor, but Velocity 3 was able to scoop him up and dropped him off at his flipped vessel. The two sailors of Velocity 2 were then able to right their boat and get on their way. It was exciting to watch from the shore, and it seemed as though everyone was OK. That will make for an exciting story.

So we're now waiting for the boats to land and let's have a good finish guys so that everybody wins.
