Day 5 Start Daytona Beach

And we're off to Fernandina Beach! We just stopped in our motorhome at High Tide Snack Jacks to have a burger and watch the boats go by. We saw Yellow out in front followed by Velocity and Orange; hopefully we keep it that way. The start went off without any major problems, other than Orange getting a dagger board stuck and having to adjust it before taking off, setting them back only slightly.

The outlook is good though, if only because we got away from that horrifying hotel that only had cold water (if it had water at all.) A pipe burst next to Laurel's room so she had lovely sopping wet carpet, and I gotta say, sleeping on a Murphy bed isn't really as bad as it sounds. Oh, the woes of the ground crew.

Anyway, everyone's off safe and sound and should be landing hopefully by 6:00. Good luck everybody, and let's make our ground crew proud.
