Blue: Todd Hart, and Jeff Losapio

Todd Hart is the skipper of Team Royal Blue (Cat Fever) and has been sailing since 1970. He resides in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with his wife, Jackie, daughter, Kiersten, and Chesapeake Bay retriever, Widgeon. He is self employed as a trim carpenter/ contractor. He began racing catamarans in 1991 and completed four Worrell 1000's (1999-2002), the Outer Banks 500, the Great Texas 300, 10 years of Key Largo Steeplechases, seven Down the Bays, and eight Chesapeake 100's as well as countless other races. This will be his fourth Tybee 500 sailing with crewman, Jeff Losapio, usually under the Cat Fever moniker. Todd is a member and high points champion of the Dogtown Yacht Club in Richmond, VA and sails with the Outer Banks Catamaran Club. These credentials make him a very experienced and valued member of our Royal Team. 

Todd's crewman for this year, Jeff Losapio, is also a seasoned sailor who completed the Tybee in 2003 as a member of Howard's Pub team and in 2009 as Team Cat Fever. Jeff lives in Herndon, VA with his wife, Kristy, and their two children, Matt and Caitlin. He works in the Software Security industry. Jeff was bitten by the Catamaran bug fifteen years ago, and has been sailing competitively for the past eight.  He has participated in several Steeplechases, C100's, and many other races both long and short. He is a member of the West River Catamaran Association which is based in Gainesville, Maryland. After taking a hiatus from the sailing world to spend time with his two children, he raced in the Tybee last year and is excited for this year's race.

The Royal Blue crew members are: Rob Remmers and Stokes Seeger. Rob hails from Austin, Texas where he lives with his wife Karen and 16 year old daughter, Shelby. He is an experienced racer as well as ground crew having raced in theTybee 500 as well as the great Texas 300. He was ground support for Mischa Heemskerk in the '09 Tybee. His dedication and work ethic will be a great benefit to the whole team.

Known as the "Boat Dude" as opposed to the "Boat Guy," Stokes Seeger is a veteran Ground Crew member of numerous Tybee 500s. Residing in Collington Harbor on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Stokes sails a Hobie 16, a Westerly, and races on a Henderson 30. His good attitude ,laid back demeanor, and the will to do whatever is asked of him without complaint, is always appreciated by Jeff and Todd.
